Here are some screen images from the Tablet Manager which depict some of the many features it has to offer digitizer users. Click each image for an enlarged view.

TaskTab.gif (9074 bytes) The Tasks Tab displays all applications for which a Tablet Task exists or can be created. In order to appear in the Task List, an application must be running on the Windows desktop. The Task List is used to select Tablet Tasks in order to change their digitizer configuration; and to create, destroy or rename Tablet Tasks.
The Coordinate Tab allows you to set clipping and cropping areas for the current task. The clipping and cropping features work together to define an active area on the digitizer and Windows display. The default values map to the entire areas of each.
The Button Tab allows you to change the relationship between the digitizer and Windows buttons for the current task. In addition, you can enable the automatic generation of button events based on distance moved and optionally generate a short tone or click each time a button is pressed or released.
The Pointer Tab allows you to change the orientation (also known as rotation), positioning method and appearance of the Windows display cursor when the digitizer is moving it. Note that related features in the Cursor Tab such as sensitivity, acceleration and wrapping are applied only when the Positioning is set to relative.
The Driver Tab allows you to configure the drivers for the proximity interval, serial interrupt usage, and contention with another pointing device such as a mouse. While modifying these features is generally unnecessary, changing the proximity interval or interrupt processing can improve the driver’s performance.
The System Tab allows you to configure how the Virtual Tablet Interface will work with your particular computer and Windows hardware settings including the serial port and interrupt usage, compatibility with multiple display monitors, and using the digitizer as a mouse under DOS. As a rule, you will generally not need to change these settings.
The Status Tab provides important information regarding the operation of the driver and digitizer. The values displayed are updated several times each second and are useful for diagnosing problems or fine-tuning performance. For details on how to use the Status Tab,  see Common Problems.
The Template Tab allows you to assign keystroke macros to digitizer buttons and execute digitizer template menus created and compiled by the Virtual Template Editor. Both may be specified for a given task but care should be given to possible interaction between these two features.
The Pressure Tab allows you to set the effective pressure range of your digitizer, enable and disable “air brushing” or the assignment of arbitrary pressure values to digitizer buttons, and the smoothing of actual pressure readings. While you do not need a pressure-sensitive stylus to use all of these features, pressure is not used by all Windows applications.
wpe16.gif (9865 bytes) The Stylus Tab allows you to set the range a pressure stylus will use to output a button press or release. It also allows you to program auxiliary buttons, like buttons 3 and 4 on a two-button stylus, from a digitizer button and keyboard combination.
The Cursor Tab allows you to change relative cursor movement including sensitivity, acceleration and wrapping of the Windows cursor. Sensitivity and acceleration determine how fast the cursor moves across the desktop. Wrapping permits the cursor to wrap from one side of the display to the other without traversing across the entire display.
The Device Tab allows you to reset and configure the device drivers for the digitizer type and report rate. While using these features is generally unnecessary, changing the digitizer type is useful when diagnosing driver problems, and changing the report rate or device type can improve the driver’s performance.
wpe18.gif (9817 bytes) The Locking Tab prevents task properties from being changed by the Manager or other applications. Locking can be very useful both to protect programmed features from over-writes (like Template Buttons) and also to preserve favorite features that may not be the Manager’s default settings (like Driver Contention). By default, all features are unlocked.
wpe1A.gif (9961 bytes) The Manager Tab allows you to configure the Tablet Manager for a variety of options that can make using the Manager much easier. By default, all Manager options are enabled. To disable a particular option, uncheck the box next to the option name.
